Skills are abilities that activate automatically during combat. Each Yo-kai has a skill. Some skills are offensive while others are defensive.

| Blazing Fighting Spirit | When an ally who's also in the front line gets KO'ed, strength and spirit stats are boosted for the next 5 turns. | Caring | Yo-kai next to you recover 2% of their max HP. This ability applies whether or not the Yo-kai is in the front or back row. When there is a Yo-kai with this skill on either side of you, the effect is doubled.
