Yo-kai Watch 1 Game Information
Kyubi and Frostail are the only Spirit attackers that can compete with the Tengu duo in the post game. Instead of having an ability that makes their attacks stronger, they have an ability that makes it impossible for them to miss. This is good since it can free up a spot on your party to use a Yokai who doesn't have Oldness Zone. They are also both very powerful and have such high Spirit stats that if it weren't for the Tengu Fan, the Tengu duo would be second place. They also come from the Mystery tribe, so that is another bonus. They work well when equipped with the Fiend Badge, but Venoct Gauntlet and the Heavenly Sash aren't bad choices, either. Always train them to have a Logical or Brainy attitude.

In Wibble Wobble, Frostail is found in Hidden Stage 19. Its favorite food is Oden Stew. The effect of its Soultimate Move is Turns 2 Wib Wobs into Breaking Balls.
Appearance
Frostail shares a similar appearance with Kyubi. While Kyubi's fur is golden in color, Frostail's fur is grey or silver across most of it's body. The parts colored purple on Kyubi are dark indigo on Frostail.

Origin
Frostail's Japanese name, Inugami, refers to the dog spirit with the same name. They are familiars conjured through a complex and cruel ritual in which a dog is turned into a vengeful spirit, that will follow its master's orders to protect them, or even possess people and commit crimes. They are however very dangerous, as their rage is all-consuming and can potentially turn them against the conjurer who created them. Families protected by an inugami are called inugami-mochi, and will only marry their children to those of other inugami-mochi families.

- "Frostail" is a contraction of frost tail, referring to the Yo-Kai's ice-based powers.
