Trivia

Origin

He appears to be a two-headed version of Cerberus.

His name is a play on "Cerberus", the three-headed guard dog of the underworld in greco-roman mythology.

His japanese name is based on the Sanzu River, which in japanese buddhism is akin to the River Styx, as both are believed to be crossed by the deceased in order to reach the afterlife.
