Yo-kai Medallium
Uh-oh... Nate's room is a disaster area, and his mom isn't happy at all about it. She gives him one final warning to clean up his room-- or else. Fearing maternal wrath, Nate quickly complies with her wishes and starts to clean his room. While he's cleaning, Nate complains to Whisper that he has no idea what to do with all the Yo-kai Medals he's collected, then proceeds to dump them in a desk drawer, much to Whisper's chagrin. Whisper then presents him with a large book called a Yo-kai Medallium, designed especially for holding Yo-kai Medals. Nate is suspicious of the book, questioning Whisper on why the book has so many slots for medals. But before they can resolve the dispute, the rare "Yo-kai" Monster Mom appears... not actually a Yo-kai, but Nate's furious mother!!
Yo-kai Hungramps
Nate and Whisper are walking near the convenience store when Nate notices Katie. When Nate walks up to greet her, she's startled and hides the jumbo hot dog she was eating behind her back. Whisper knows that if Nate comments on Katie's eating habits she'll be mad, but Nate is too slow to realize this and blurts it out anyway. Naturally, Katie is angry at Nate and runs off in a huff. Whisper reprimands Nate, reminding him that he should never comment on a girl's appearance. However, Nate has other things on his mind, as he suspects that Katie's odd fondness for convenience store food might have been caused by a Yo-kai!
Nate heads to investigate the convenience store, but Whisper is not convinced in the slightest. Nate proves Whisper wrong when the Yo-kai Watch reveals the Yo-kai Hungramps is enspiriting the store! Fortunately, Whisper quickly changes his tune, revealing that Hungramps causes everyone near him to become hungry. After a quick reminder from Whisper that he can either negotiate or confront Hungramps, Nate decides to negotiate with him. Unfortunately, talking to Hungramps proves to be a little difficult, as he keeps falling asleep in the middle of the conversation.
Eventually, Nate asks him to stop enspiriting the store, but Hungramps reveals he has a very important reason for being at the store. Nate eventually has to summon Tattletell to get Hungramps to spill the beans. It turns out that he's actually trying to find his beloved granddaughter from his former life as a human. Hungramps used to bring her to this convenience store when she was little and bought her a toy bear here. He doesn't remember her face, but he's sure that he'll know her if he sees her, so he has decided to wait for her to come back someday. Nate feels sorry for him, but realizes that he can't just leave this situation as-is.
Surprisingly, Whisper cuts in and gives Hungramps a dose of the truth: he's causing trouble for other people and there's no guarantee he'd really know his granddaughter if he saw her. Nate is shocked at Whisper's sharp words, but Hungramps actually agrees, and decides it's time for him to stop enspiriting the convenience store. Just as Hungramps is walking away, two high school girls walk by, and one of them just happens to have the toy bear that Hungramps gave his granddaughter when she was little. As she talks with her friend, she says that she remembers her grandfather every day, much to Hungramps' joy. For helping resolve the problem, Nate scores Hungramps' Yo-kai medal.
Later, Nate runs into Katie again, who seems to have taken up jogging. She's still angry at Nate about his comments from earlier, too. How will Nate resolve this...?
Yo-kai Wazzat
Forgetfulness is the theme of this episode, as it starts off with Bear's mom embarrassing him in front of the whole class when she comes to bring him his gym clothes at school. Not only that, but it looks like everybody else in the class forgot to bring anything to school today, and the teacher forgot to even get dressed! Nate and Whisper know that there's a Yo-kai at work behind this, and the Yo-kai Watch reveals it's the Mysterious Yo-kai Wazzat! Wazzat is a hat-shaped Yo-kai that latches onto people's heads and makes them forget things! Before Nate and Whisper can catch it, it escapes out the window.
After class, Nate runs into Katie again... and she's still mad at Nate. Suddenly, Wazzat appears again and offers to erase Katie's memory. Before Nate can even say "yes", Wazzat does it anyway and Katie instantly forgets Nate's comments from the other day, cheerfully heading off to band practice. Nate is pleased with this but Whisper immediately warns against using Yo-kai for personal gain-- until Wazzat grabs Whisper's head and makes him forget he said anything.
Later on, Nate realizes he completely forgot about the big test at school today, but good thing Wazzat is nearby to make his teacher forget all about the test! Again, Whisper is quick to admonish Nate about using Wazzat for his own benefit, and this time Nate is more understanding. Sometime after that, Nate, Wazzat, and Whisper are outside discussing Wazzat's powers, which prompts Wazzat to tell them about where he came from. Wazzat relates his tragic story about how he was formerly a hat owned by a woman who wore him frequently, but one day discarded him and never wore him again.
However, Nate and Whisper weren't even listening to Wazzat's story, which enrages him! Wazzat chases after Nate, threatening to make him forget everything! Whisper urges Nate to call out Jibanyan to take care of this situation, but Nate accidentally summons Manjimutt instead. What could have been a disaster actually works out perfectly, as when Wazzat clamps onto Manjimutt's head, he is disgusted by Manjimutt's vile-tasting memories.
After Wazzat has calmed down a bit, Nate reaffirms that he just wants to be friends with Wazzat. Overjoyed that he won't be forgotten again, Wazzat hands over his Yo-kai medal, bringing the story to a nice conclusion-- until Wazzat jumps onto Nate's head to shade him from the sun and accidentally erases his memories!
Yo-kai Manjimutt: Part 3
Manjimutt had a lot of time to think in jail and has decided to start his own hair salon. Nate and Whisper have dropped by for a visit but are quickly dismissed by Manjimutt, as they don't have a hair appointment.
They return later to find a despondent Manjimutt lying on the floor of the salon. His plan didn't go quite as expected: all his customers were dogs. Realizing he is unqualified as a hairstylist, Manjimutt seems at a loss at what to do, until Whisper happens to read out of a magazine that fashion photography is an excellent profession for meeting women. Newly inspired, Manjimutt seems invigorated and ready to take on a career as a fashion photographer. How will his new career path turn out for him?
