Part 1: Springdale Five-Yo: Episode 7 - Imminent Danger Removal
Picking up on the cliffhanger from the last episode, Komasan and Whisper are checking out a shopping center to locate the other bomb that the bomber warned them about. They eventually locate it in a garbage can, but they have no idea which wires to cut. They’ve only got 3 minutes and there’s not enough time to evacuate everyone, so they have to guess.
They have to think carefully because cutting the wrong wire will cause the bomb to explode immediately; Komasan suggests they cut the white wire, but the color white reminds Whisper of a bad memory so he advises against it. However, Komasan went ahead and cut the wire anyway while Whisper was talking—nothing happened.
They repeat this cycle with the blue wire, and when they get to the red wire Whisper snatches the scissors and just cuts it himself, which causes the bomb’s countdown to accelerate! Komasan knows what must be done, and he urges Whisper to put the bomb in his mouth like before to contain the explosion. Whisper reluctantly does so, and the day is (more or less) saved.
However, back at the station, Komasan gets an award recognizing his accomplishments… and poor Whisper gets nothing at all.
Part 2: Sgt. Burly
Nate comes downstairs to find his mom exercising in front of the TV. He thinks that’s a bit unusual, but when he discovers Whisper in his room and unable to stop exercising, he uses the Yo-kai Watch to reveal the Yo-kai Sgt. Burly, who is forcing Whisper to exercise! Nate thinks it’s pretty funny at first, but Whisper demands his help, because Sgt. Burly’s not going to let Whisper stop exercising until he’s ripped like Sgt. Burly is.
Sgt. Burly continues his workout regimen on Whisper for a while; Nate asks him nicely to stop, but this backfires and he makes Whisper exercise even more! Eventually, Whisper deflates—but he is reborn moments later in golden light, his body now extremely muscular.
His work completed, Sgt. Burly gives Nate his Yo-kai Medal and is about to leave… when Jibanyan enters and Sgt. Burly realizes he needs to train Jibanyan too! Nate gets dragged into the training as well, and the episode ends with all 3 of them exercising together, Nate wondering how he got dragged into all this.
Part 3: Yo-kai Heheheel
Nate and Eddie are heading to visit Bear in the hospital. Nate mentions that Bear fell down some stairs and broke a bone, but Eddie is too busy laughing inappropriately about Bear’s situation. Later, the two of them are asking the nurses for directions to Bear’s room, and once again Eddie starts laughing at a completely inappropriate time.
Nate suspects a Yo-kai, and he’s right—it’s Heheheel who is causing Eddie to laugh at inappropriate times. Heheheel causes his victims to constantly laugh, and Nate realizes that if Eddie laughs at Bear it’s going to end badly, so he tries to summon Jibanyan… but there’s a peanut stuck in the Yo-kai Watch because Nate fell asleep Jibanyan while he was eating peanuts. He tries again with the Type-Zero watch… but this time there’s an entire smoked squid leg stuck inside of it.
Because of this, Nate has no time to summon a Yo-kai to deal with Heheheel, and Eddie starts laughing at everything Bear says. Nate tries to play it off but Bear still seems suspicious. Just then, the hospital director is making his rounds, and Eddie starts laughing so Nate drags him away so they don’t get kicked out of the hospital.
Unfortunately, they end up in the worst possible place for laughing—an operating room. Eddie’s still laughing, which gets them kicked out of the operating room instantly. Fortunately, this is enough to release Heheheel’s grip on Eddie, who suddenly reveals he’s been having a horrible day. Heheheel was only inspiriting Eddie in order to cheer him up so he could laugh despite how bad his day has been.
Later, outside the hospital, Heheheel is inspiriting Eddie again and he’s laughing at positively everything. Nate thinks it’s a good thing, but Whisper’s a little skeptical.
