===Origin===
Based on his habitat, Supyo could be inspired by a kappa subspecies named <i>garappa</i>, which lives in the Kyushu region by the sea as opposed to its riverbound cousins. Compared to them, they are thinner and have abnormally long limbs, and emit a pungent smell. During the autumn season, they retire to the mountains and enjoy playing pranks on humans. Besides these distinctions, they are otherwise similar to kappa in appearance and habits.
