'''Yo-kai Watch''' is the first game from the ''[[Yo-kai Watch (franchise)|Yo-kai Watch franchise]]'' released for the [[Nintendo 3DS]] by [[Level-5]].

The game was released on July 11, 2013 in Japan. On April 2015, Level-5 announced that [[wikipedia:Nintendo|Nintendo]] would handle the localization of the game in the west. During the [[Wikipedia:E3|E3]] of 2015, Nintendo of America revealed that the game will be released in North America on November 6th, 2015.<ref name="US release"></ref> Nintendo of Australia and New Zealand revealed on their twitter page that the game will be released in Australia and New Zealand on December 5, 2015<ref name="AUNZ"></ref> and Nintendo of South Korea revealed that the game will be released on November 26, 2015.

An official release date for Europe is not revealed, only that the game will arrive during the second quarter of 2016.
