Appearance

Papa Bolt is a humanoid Yo-kai with reddish-tan skin and with brown hair and beard. He weats a blue sleeveless kimono and a large rope coiled in three circled on his back, and he rides a cloud.

Relationships

He is the father of Frazzel and the husband of Mama Aura. Seidenki is his nephew.

Origin

Papa Bolt's concept appears to be based on the idiom kaminari oyaji (雷親父, "lightning pops", or perhaps more correctly "thunderous pops"), which is used to describe a strict, ornery father that strikes fear into his offspring.
