===Lord Enma===
Venoct has some kind of relationship with Lord Enma. In the quest "Abaredaijya to Enmasama" (The great outraging serpent and Enmasama) it is revealed that Venoct was the great outraging serpent. When talking to Venoct about the promise he made with him, he says that he's watching over the human world in order to keep a friend's promise, that friend being Lord Enma.
===Red J===
In the anime, Venoct despises him. In the last episode of his own series, it shows that he died as a human when Red J caused his village to be engulfed in flames, killing all of his friends and family. Venoct, who wanted revenge, turned into the Yo-kai he is now.
