I don't know if I'm the only one but I do wish that they would make it for more platforms than the 3DS. While I do have one, so I'll be able to to buy it, it's not my favorite system to use. It would be nice if we could use it on a mac or pc because I use my mac more than anything else that I own. What do you guys think about that?
I am sure they will. You have to be patient. They are not going to invest a lot of money making games until they know there is a marketplace to be had. I am sure it will do well in America though so no worries :3
Yeah, I also think that it would be much better if they had it on more platforms. I mean if you don't have the 3DS, then that stinks because you would have to go out and buy one just to play the game. I'm happy that I do have one so that I"m able to play though.
I really hope they do make it for the other consoles just because I have some friends who can't buy the game because they don't have the console to support it. I wish that they did, because I'm sure that they would really like it. So, I think that if it did come out on the Playstation or something else, then they would really like it.
It's good to know that because I've been wondering. I mean it would be very nice to be able to have some other platforms to be able to play it on.
Sorry to burst your guys' bubbles, but unfortunately it's unlikely that Yokai Watch will be released on any system other than 3DS. In Japan, four games in the main series and eight in total have been released, and all but one of them was exclusively for 3DS (the exception being a spinoff which is a WiiU exclusive). It doesn't hurt to hope though, I suppose.
I guess that the main series probably will stay on 3DS only. If you look at the controls it was built for the system
Guys be careful what you wish for...Another Level-5 game, Fantasy Life, was released on 3DS but its sequel is gonna be released on mobile devices and its gotten A LOT of hate because apparently its gonna be difficult to play on one screen. Personally I think the 3DS is best for Yokai Watch (i mean how're you gonna battle without dual/touch screens?)
Yeah that's true. It would most likely look similar to an emulator! It would also not be great because if it's like Fantasy Life the people who can play the second game on mobile won't know what happened and in the first and don't want to pay.. is it $300? I forgot. Anyways the 3ds controls are really good and make gameplay easy so I think it's best for games like this to stay on the 3ds.
